This is a campaign that raises awarness about how sexual violence affects us all. The goal is to empower people to work towards ending sexual violence in our community.

Monday: Sexual Violence and LGBTQ Communities
The goal of this workshop is to challenge heterosexist myths and interrogate structural inequalities that sustain sexual violence within LGBTQ communities.

Presented by Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center and Pacific Pride Foundation

Tuesday: Still I Rise Art Show

A mixed-media art display inspired by healing from sexual violence.
Location :SRB Forum time: 5pm
Wednesday: Mujeres de Juarez Workshop
Film Screening of Bordertown and discussion as well as Petition Signing for U.S and Mexican Governments.

Presented by Students Stopping Rape and M.U.J.E.R.

Thursday: Can men get raped?

A candid discussion about strict gender roles and male survivors of sexual violence.

Presented by Men Against Rape and the Sexual Harassment Education Program

Thursday: Expressions!! Express yourself against Rape

A number of performances to promote working to end sexual violence including Stomp, Dance, Spoken Word, and Song.
Location: Multi-Purpose Room, Student Resource Building Time: 9pm-11pm

Friday: S.O.A.R.S Performance (Story of A Rape Survivor)

A performance about one woman’s journey to reclaim her body, sexuality, spirituality, and self esteem after being sexually assaulted in college. Performed by a diverse cast of women and featuring photographs taken by her sister during the recovery process, SOARS uses modern dance, spoken-word, and music to educate the public about sexual violence and to ease the shame, guilt, and self-blame that survivors too often fel with a story of hope and healing.
